The best vitamins for Hair July 29, 2010

I have found these to be the absolute best vitamins for my hair hands down. You only need to take one a day and they are inexpensive. These worked better for me than some other vitamins that cost 5x as much. I started taking them a few years ago. My hair was short ( chin length) and dull and it shed like crazy. It took a good two weeks to start seeing results. At the end of the first month I had gained close to an inch (a miracle) my hair was shinning and stronger and hardly any shedding. My hair is now to my waist and looks great. Not all vitamins will work for everyone but for the price of these you really cant go wrong and they certainly can't hurt to try. I really recommend them. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Don't let the price fool you because by far this is the best hair vitamin I have ever taken. The others I have tried are Nioxin's hair vitamin, GNC's Nourish Hair, and GNC's Hair and Nails formula, but California Naturals is the best. Like another reviewer said the daily dose is only one pill, and within weeks I noticed my hair was growing faster everywhere, not just on my head. That, to me, is the best indication that the hair vitamin is working, when you have to shave your legs more, pluck your eyebrows more frequently, AND see results on your head.
I have been using this product for years and my hair is long and thick and less likely to break and split. Hands down, I recommend this hair vitamin over all others.

My wife's hair was falling out because she has a bladder condition called Interstitial Cystitis which prevents her from taking normal multivitamins (they irritate her bladder). I found these "Hair" vitamins through a recommendation on the IC website ([...]), and they really work! She used to comb her hair and get handfuls falling out each time. Now, after a month of taking them, it's cut in half. We're hoping for more improvement as time goes by. Highly recommended.

I've been taking these vitamins for about 8 years, after they were recommended to me by my hairdresser. I have really long, fine hair that tends to break and split easily. These vitamins have made my hair stronger and less prone to problems. When my local Wal-Mart stopped selling them I couldn't find another store that sold them for almost 2 months. After a month of not taking these vitamins I noticed a HUGE difference in my hair. It once again began breaking off and splitting on the ends. I couldn't believe the difference!
Unlike other vitamins formulated for hair, the required dose is only 1 tablet, once a day, instead multiple doses daily. These also do not contain iron, which really upsets my stomach. I'm sold on these. Neither Wal-Mart, nor any of the drugstores here sell them anymore. I was so relieved to see that Amazon was selling them. Now I can just have them shipped directly to my home.
