i bought this in december after doing research; i must say i like it; i have been wearing my hair pulled back in a "phoney pony" for a month now and had it relaxed last night; lots more new growth than i expected and much less hair breakage than i expected; my hair feels stronger; will continue to use the product...

5 out of 5 stars It Works!   January 21, 2010

I bought this product a few weeks ago. I am always very nervous about taking any type of pills from the internet. After reading the reviews here and other places, I had mixed feelings. I began taking my vitamins once or twice each day. Within days, my nails grew out. I am not playing! I also began washing my hair every 4 days--which is also something new for me. My hair would grow then break off, so bought the pills so I could see how fast my hair would grow healthy without breaking off. Before, I had a lot of shedding on the floor, on the back of my shirt, on in the bathroom sink, on my pillow, etc. I do not have this problem any longer! I am french braiding my hair and wearing a wig to help prevent breakage during the rest of the winter. When I began taking the pills about 2 weeks ago, my hair was at my shoulders. Today it is at least 1 inch past my shoulders and that is within a 2 week time frame! I am very happy with these vitamins!

4 out of 5 stars Still in the process   December 30, 2009

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1ABLFP9MJCN31 As with most folks, I am skeptical about products that are supposed to have 'miracle' results. Still, I purchased it and decided to give it a try. I am in no way an expert, this is solely my opinion based on my own experience. I received the product in the mail Dec 8th, and started taking it immediately. I followed the instructions of a previous reviewer, taking it 3 times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and followed it with plenty of fluids. I don't have a very healthy appetite for water, but I drink plenty of natural fruit juice and milk. My hair was braided when I began taking the pills. Also, I compared the ingredients of this product to another product I had been using to see the differences. Also, I cut my hair very short, 3in, the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving. So I did a lot to prepare myself for good, or average hair growth. On average, my hair grows about 1/2in per month. I went natural in May of this year, so all that was on my head was 6 months of new growth. After taking my braids down last week, I noticed my hair was about a good 4 1/2in long. I am very amazed by the results. That being said, I do not always take 3 pills a day, and I have missed at least 3 whole days of taking it. So I still have about 4 weeks of pills to take before the trial period is over. Like I said, my hair is natural, and since starting the pills, my hair has only been washed once and conditioned twice. Like a previous reviewer said, it won't work for everyone. You have to try and see what works for you.

I took pics of my hair prior to having it braided, what it looked like when I took out the braids, and will take another pic once my trial period is over. A few pics have already been posted on my page, and I will post the rest later. If you are interested in not only hearing, but also seeing actual results, feel free to look at my page. The link can be found on my Amazon Profile. Pics are posted under my 'All Natural' album.

>>>Update
As I stated before, this product will not work for everyone, but I have pics posted to show how well it has worked for me. As of right now, my hair is actually long enough to put into a small ball, for military purposes. As stated before, pics are posted on my page. It is a myspace page, so I apologize if you do not have an account because you will not be able to see my posted pics.

>>>Update 16 Feb 10
I took into consideration that there may be many people who do not have a myspace account, so I created a video review. I apologize if you cannot hear me very well, I'm not very good with a mic. I show my hair in a small bun, which is bigger than it was during my last post. I also take it down and show how long my hair was when I started, and how long it is now. I have about 4in of growth since I started using the product, which has been about 2 months now. Because of some military things, I went about 3 weeks without using it, which I noticed that my hair growth started to slow back to normal. Also, if you go to the product website, it lists all of the ingredients and the amounts. If you're looking at this now, then you have more than likely tried another product similar. Look at the ingredients, and compare to the other products you have used, just as I have. Do your research before you buy. And if you want to try it anyway, the price isn't so bad that you would really miss the money. As I said before, trial and error, this product will not work for everyone, but it has done wonders for me.

1 out of 5 stars Complete waste of money!!!   December 9, 2009

I took these vitamins for more than six months and during that time I did not notice any enhanced hair growth or any noticeable improvement in my skin and nails though I was on a very healthy diet, drinking plenty of water and exercising regularly at the time. I stopped using them and decided to try getting the needed nutrients from natural sources so I turned to eating a breakfast consisting of wheat germ, wheat germ oil, milk, an egg and fresh fruits daily followed up with healthy servings of vegetables and yogurts and plenty of water for the remainder of my meals, and it was only then that I noticed improvements in my skin, hair and nails. My hair texture has improved, it is growing above average, my dry skin and scalp have normalized, my complexion has cleared and I have a lot of energy. It is more than one year later, and these improvements are still there, and it is cheaper on my pockets.
